slowly I am indexing the 2500 Uglows (let alone the spouses) on the database.
Mainly I have grouped people geographically - into Cornwall and Devon
parishes or into other areas of the country. This is inevitably rather
rough
I am creating an alphabetical list of both Uglows and spouses but only
10% has been done so far
- Uglows are sorted by first name - eg Stephen 1947 - son of.....
- Spouses are sorted by surname, if known - eg Crowther, Jenny - marries Steve.
- If only the first name of the spouse is known, then that will be referenced: Jenny ? 1947 - marries Steve
- Always check alternative spellings - I group Katherine all under Catherine
