Family 1:
Nicholas and Mary
Nicholas 1704 is the son of
Nicholas and Elizabeth Short and the grandson
of Richard and Elizabeth Braund. He
marries Mary who dies in September 1733 in St Gennys, shortly after the
birth of Elizabeth. Nicholas remarries - Minster
Family 1 - and it seems likely that Elizabeth 1733 has died in infancy
as he has another daughter, christened Elizabeth.

Family 2:
Nicholas and Mary French
Nicholas
1736 married Mary French, in 1758 in Warbstow - see Family
1biii. One child is born in Treneglos:
Miscellaneous
- William 1702 from St Gennys
married Agnes Hobb in Treneglos in 1730 but were resident in Warbstow
- Family 1a. William is buried here in
1781
- William 1760, born in Treneglos
and grandson of William and Agnes, marries Ann Chapman in Treneglos
in 1790 - Warbstow Family 6.
- Mary
J. 1837 was a servant in the village with a farmer, Richard Chapman
with wife, Grace
- A Richard Chapman marries
Grace in 1822 in Marhamchurch. This is likely to be Grace 1805. There is a Richard Chapman
who is a farmer of 230 acres by 1851 and over 500 acres in
1871. But if this is the same family, Grace has died by the early
1840s and Richard has married again as the 1851 and 1871 censuses
tell us that his wife (still called Grace) was born in 1824
in Warbstow. This second Grace may well be another Uglow - I suggest
this solely because in 1851 they are employing Mary J. Uglow as
a servant
